How we use your details
Black Pin Removals is a trading name of Blackpin Solutions Ltd, company number 17177738, registered office 26 Napier Road, London NW10 5XJ. We are the data controller for any personal information you send us through this website.
What we collect
When you ask for a quote by form, phone, WhatsApp or email we collect your name, contact details, the addresses or postcodes you are moving between, your moving date and anything you tell us about the move. Nothing else is collected through the site.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and prepare a quote. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To carry out the move once you book. The lawful basis is performance of a contract.
- To keep records of quotes, bookings and invoices for as long as the law requires. The lawful basis is legal obligation.
We do not send marketing emails or messages unless you have asked us to, and you can stop them at any time.
Who sees it
Only the Black Pin team. Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit, an email relay service, and our website is hosted by Vercel. Neither uses your details for anything other than passing them to us. We never sell or share your information with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become a booking are deleted within 12 months. Booking and invoice records are kept for six years for tax purposes.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. No personal data is stored and nothing is used for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us at . If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
